Wellspring Peloton Challenge Training Vlog for 28 May 2018

Hey everyone, Dr. Clifford here with a quick
peloton training update. I just got back from 133 km ride just now. It is 31 degrees outside and I am really tired. Even the bottoms of my feet hurt, and what’s
really special today is if I take too deep a breath, I cough. The reason I’m doing this is for a number
of cancer patients who need someone to talk to. They need some support; they need to understand
what’s going on. That’s what Wellspring is for. The programs at Wellspring are fantastic for
patients who are going through chemo: they have support groups for people who have already
been through it, they help guide people through the process and provide a lot of comfort and
support to people who are going through very very difficult times, whether it’s emotional
or physical. This is a hard challenge. I did 133 km today; our goal when we’re actually
riding is going to be 160 km every day for 8 days. I’m not there yet, but I’m working at it,
and as you can see, it’s really tough. So yeah, I just wanted to say that. That’s why I’m doing this, this is why I’m
going from Toronto to Vegas: To help Wellspring help more people. So please give generously, help me reach my
goal and help Wellspring help more people. Thank you.
