UC football player killed in motorcycle crash on Vine Street

— THE BENGALS SHOW THEIR LOVE TONIGHT FOR THE DAUGHTER OF ONE OF THEIR OWN. IT WAS A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STAR FOLLOWING HIS DREAM IN COLLEGE. THE 19-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN A MOTORCYCLE CRASH WAS A FRESHMAN RUNNING BACK AT UC. WE SPOKE TO HIS FORMER COACH AL AGO TO NORTH ABOUT A PERSON THAT WAS MORE THAN JUST A PLAYER. CHAMODA KENNEDY-PALMORE PLAYED SOME OF HIS BEST FOOTBALL RIGHT HERE AT LAKOTA EAST, BUT HE IS BETTER KNOWN FOR THE PERSON THAT HE WAS OFF THE FIELD. RICK HAYNES SAYS THAT THE WORLD LOST ONE OF THE BEST. WHAT A TRAGIC LOSS IT IS FOR HIS FAMILY AND HIS TEAMMATES. HE IS THE ONE THAT MADE SOMEONE A GREAT EMPLOYEE. IT WAS GOING TO BE A GREAT HUSBAND AND A GREAT FATHER. AND THOSE OF THE THINGS THAT YOU THINK ABOUT. CHAMODA KENNEDY-PALMORE DIED AFTER HIS MOTORCYCLE WAS HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. THOSE ARE THE TWO THINGS LISTED OUT ABOUT THEM, HOW HARD HE WORKED AND HOW WE TREATED EVERYBODY. HE WAS A REGISTERED FRESHMAN AT UC UNIVERSITY. HE WAS RIDING HIS MOTORCYCLE WHEN THE POLICE SAID THAT DRIVER OF A CAR TURNED LEFT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. HE DIED AT THE HOSPITAL AND THE NEWS SPREAD QUICKLY TO FRIENDS. HE WAS A GREAT GUY. EVERY TIME YOU SAW HIM HE WOULD SMILE, NO MATTER WHAT HE WAS THINKING. HE HAD THIS LITTLE GRIN ON HIS FACE. HE WAS A GREAT GUY ALL AROUND. FRIEND AND FORMER CLASSMATE JAMES MYRON SAID THAT THEY SHARED A LOVE FOR MOTORCYCLES AND EVEN TEXTED LAST NIGHT ABOUT A NEW BIKE. THAT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME THE TWO TALKED. MY BUDDY SAID SOMETHING GOOD TODAY. SAY I LOVE YOU TO THE PEOPLE THAT YOU CARE ABOUT AND LET EVERYBODY KNOW THAT THEY MEAN SOMETHING TO YOU. AND OF COURSE, TONIGHT, HIS FAMILY SAID THAT HE WANTED TO THANK THE ENTIRE — THEY WANTED TO THANK THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY FOR THE SUPPORT DURING THIS TIME. THE DRIVER REMAINS AT THE HOSPITAL. NO CHARGES HAVE BEEN FILED. ALLISON, THANK YOU. THE UC FOOTBALL FAMILY IS ALSO AN MORNING TONIGHT. TOMMY TUBERVILLE TALK ABOUT — TALKED ABOUT CHAMODA’ S LIFE ON A RADIO SHOW TONIGHT AND HOW CLOSE THE PLAYERS ARE. THEY EAT AND SLEEP TOGETHER, THEY DO ALL OF THESE THINGS TOGETHER, AND THEY GO THROUGH TOUGH TIMES. HE HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE. EVERY DAY. HE LOVED FOOTBALL. THIS COMES JUST A YEAR AFTER THE DEATH OF REDSHIRT FRESHMAN BEN FLECK. THE HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL GRAD WAS KILLED LAST YEAR IN A CAR CRASH ON HIS WAY BACK FROM A
