in the whole of Asia this is the one and only vulture sanctuary that Vulture Sanctuary is located here this is also the location where the movie Sholay was shot In Sholay movie the place was famously known as Ramgad in real is the Ramanagaras Ramadevara Betta along with my friend Vijendra Babu come let us see no point reaching early in the morning here here they open only by 9 am 9 am to 5 pm is the timing here for entry since entry is not permitted till 9 am we came to the small hill right next to it we are sitting on top of it and relaxing entry fee how much ? this is the hilllock on which we were sitting and waiting Rama had come here during his exhile here crows do not come, due to curse of Rama the staute on the rock came on its own This is the place where Rama went by walk Is this the one? Yes here there is around 400 steps people are permitted to climb wearing shoes there seems to be caves, let us go and see it too from here it becomes more steep come This temple is more than 1000 years old The specialty here is that as you enter Ramanagara first you will get Anjaneya then Rama is always there, if you come from Mysore Kengan Anjaneya if you come from Bangalore Shesidhar Anjaneya, here behind there is Devasivodi Chennarayanagovindoddi there too its anjaneya Anjaneya, opposite there is a temple, there too there is a Anjaneya here all it has grown on its own (Udbhava murthy) one more specialty here is that , Anjenaya is not holding a gada or a mountain “i am there ” in Abhaya hastha here in Tretayuga, Sugreeva installed this statue of Rama single stone statue, in the whole world this is the only place where in a single stone all three Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Anjaneya are there at the time of exhile Rama is said to have stayed here for 4 to 5 years it is said where? at this place this is the place where Kakasura was killed from a small Garike(Blade of grass) Kakasura was killed there was no temple here earlier During Kempegowda’s time there was only Mantapa His Fort was here, if you go this side you can see the parts of the fort there are cannon balls also around the view pint is nice, above there is a Sugreevas statue and to build Bangalore, Kempegowda discovered the treasure here hence this place is called as Dhanakumbi, see there in that temple is Eshwara That was installed by Lord Rama Himself during his time here in exile these are Sapta(7) Rishis these are the Sapta (7) rishis 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 all 7 of them this is the Dhanushkoti I crore theerta comes and joins here Ramatheerta, Dhanushkoti theertha or Nidelia ( Lily ) theerta it is known as since this has the shape of a lily, if you stand there and see you can see the shape thus known as nidelia theertha Rama made this hence Ramatheertha, as he used his strength and power DhanushKoti teertha means one crore theertas come and join here Here Vultures are a speciality there are 27 variety of vultures here speciality is Jatayus breed population is found most here compared to other places This is the place where they nest the most due to this, this place has been declared as the vulture sanctuary In Indias Central Government Scheme, this is very secure every Saturday and Sunday and on government holidays there is annadana from morning 11am to evening 4 pm how many ever people come, food will be there for all that is on that every Saturday and Sunday and on government holidays Rama when had come here during exile installed this Shiva linga here and did pooje by looking at this you can find out that there was a fort here the road we need to go is here but here is a super view point come let us go and see the view pint now we have seen the view point now let us climb up this way from here it is more risky come let us go this looks dangerous but we can climb easily how is it to climb it is a little difficult
