Peloton Cycle for Mental Health – Turning Life Around – Weight Loss

Hey guys, Paul Graves here. Take the
Lemons.com. Welcome to our first video! Here in my living room right now.
Now, I just moved in so there’s nothing on the walls, but, got me and my daughter
a nice three-bedroom house. Coming from a basement where I was living for two years. So using this stuff I’m going to talk about on this site, there’s a lot more to go. I was able to turn things around in a significant way. And I continue to do
that every day. And what I want to talk about today is a huge factor. About….. 8-10 months ago a huge factor that contributed to me finally
having the power to start turning things around, to accept the pain and
insecurities I had within myself, and just to deal with my shit and begin to
repair myself. It’s a daily process a daily discipline for the rest of my life. But, you know, everything is like a dream come true right now compared to where I
was a year ago. And it’s thanks to this… which is my exercise bike here. It’s
called a Peloton Cycle. I’m not paid by them, there’s no
affiliate link on here, I’m just giving you guys the real info. I was on Facebook
one night and this ad came up. I guess I have interests in some pages like bodybuilding. I’ve always had an interest in weightlifting. So they serve me this ad. I’m curious, it looks like a really high-tech indoor exercise machine. I’ve always
wanted something in my house or at the office. Something to get me motivated
about cardio again so I could lose weight. I was also 30 pounds heavier
about 7-8 months ago So, anyways, long story short I bought the
machine right there online I was so desperate for change in my life.
I bought the machine and made a big move It’s about 2,300 bucks. Interest-free for
a year though, so I paid $190 a month, still a lot of money.
You don’t have to do that, but I’m just telling you that putting my soul into
this bike, into cardiovascular, aerobic exercise, five times a week
Intense for 45 minutes, 30 to 45 minutes changed my life. It gave me power to carry through in my decisions. It gave me accountability. I knew I was gonna work
out so I couldn’t go out and get so fucked up, or smoke cigarettes, or stay up
late arguing with a toxic girlfriend Many more examples, you know, stuff I
was doing a year ago. But this bike was a factor in me turning it all around. Exercise, aerobic exercise, mind-body connection You know that the mind and the body work together they knew this thousands of years ago. There’s a famous saying from
Roman times.. “mens sana in corpore sano.” It means “sound mind in a fit body” Sound mind in a sound body.
They both affect each other and it’s so important, I didn’t realize how my
physical health was affecting my mental health. And also how your mental health
affects the way you feel physically The first step, you’re doing it, you’re
obviously researching you’re on this site. You’re looking for ways to accept
your pain, to manage your pain and that’s awesome. The next step is to really find if there’s something in your past, if
there’s something now, find it. Find a physical activity, aerobic exercise, at
least 30 minutes five times a week. It’s gonna make you
mentally stronger. Do it, I promise you It’s gonna make a humongous difference. Write to me if you have questions Check out Peloton Cycle. In my opinion, check out Spinning. It’s the same thing, it’s an indoor cycle/bike. I’m
sorry I should have explained that earlier, my blog post will. It’s a spinning bike. An indoor spinning bike So it’s an outdoor bike on the inside.
It’s high quality. Lemme show it to you real quick. It’s built just like the real
thing. Sorry, I know I look like shit It’s built just like the real thing. It’s
extremely high quality. So I just got done working out there’s sweat all
over the floor. I’ve burned in 45 minutes I burned about 700 calories. So it’s a
very intense exercise. It’s got a huge flat screen on here. You see instructors
and landscapes. I just rode the French countryside for 50 minutes, live here on
the screen. It tracks everything: my heart rate, my rpms, my rpm, my.. I said that. My heart rate, my resistance calories burned, all that kind of stuff. Saves it for me online, there’s an app, it’s ridiculous. So anyways, Peloton Cycle. I
recommend it. Or any other aerobic exercise that will get you focused, get
you motivated to keep doing it. It’s the most important thing. It took a few months for
me to finally start seeing a huge difference and feeling “wow I’m changing.” It took a few months, I’ll be honest with you. But, I had that grind. I knew I didn’t
want to keep living the life I was living, I had enough. You know I was so
sick and tired. I was just angry enough to finally do what was necessary to stop
hurting myself, to stop hating myself, to start turning things around. To live the
next 32 years of my life differently And it’s only been about eight
months since I began that process and I can tell you that I’m worlds away already
from where I was. So in a couple of years I really hope I’m living the life
that I should have been years ago I’m living in the moment, I’m taking care
of myself. And this is a big part of it so, please, check out the bike, check out cardio Check out spinning classes. Start running. Anything. Get the technology you need to keep you motivated. If it’s really
awesome Bluetooth headphones, if it’s a new, you can get the iPhone
4s that has Spotify and stuff just for a throwaway one you can take with you to the gym for $80 now Get the tech necessary to enjoy your workout
and get motivated. Cardiovascular aerobic exercise, okay? I love you. Thanks for watching. Sorry for the messy first video, I’m glad we were able to get something up. See you. Take care
