Good info… I have an old road bike ('84 Peugeot) in perfect condition, but want to change the handlebar to a more upright style. I did replace the old French quill system with an adapter to make it threadless and easier to remove the handlebar by just removing 4 screws. That being said, the cost of a new handlebar, new brake levers and brake cables, new tape, just not sure if it's worth it. I've replaced brake cables/tape before, and consider myself pretty handy, so I may not need a bike mechanic. I do love my Peugeot road bike's frame because it's steel and very lightweight, and buying a hybrid bike with a light frame would be kind of expensive. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

You didn't disassemble it. You just talked. This is YouTube not an audio book.

I measure mine at 31.25, do you reckon I could buy a 31.8 and that would work?
