How To Bunny Hop On Your Mountain Bike In 60 Seconds – GMBN’s Quick Guide To The Bunnyhop


Right, time to learn bunny hop fast Let’s go The first part of the bunny hop is your manual. You’ve got to lift the front wheel The way to do that is to go from your ready position, nice and tall Pump down towards the saddle and then to the back of the bike Arms should lock and the bars come back with you There shouldn’t really be a pull on the bars Practice that, find yourself a little stick, get that manual up and over the stick Once you’ve got that nailed, its time to think about the rear wheel So, forget the front wheel for a second To lift the rear wheel, crouch nice and low down to your rear wheel Think about bringing your hips up and forward And then scooping a little bit with your feet If you’ve got clips, you can cheat a little bit and just pull your feet, but try to use more of your hips than your feet Once you’ve got that nailed, it’s time to put the two movements together Again, go back to your stick, going at a slow pace Think about manualing up and over that stick, pausing, and then standing up and lifting your rear wheel Once you’ve got that good, let’s up the speed The two movements come closer together That becomes a bunny hop 59 seconds Perfect So there you go, there’s our “60 second How to Bunny Hop video” You can check out our other 60 second videos up here Or other “How To” videos down here Or you can click on me to subscribe to GMBN
