Game Of Bike #2 With Phil Atwil And Marc Beaumont | Mountain Bike Skills

– Today we’ve come into the woods, and we’re gonna have a game of BIKE. We’re joined by Marc
Beaumont, and Phil Atwill. I think it’s gonna be
quite a challenging one. We’re all gonna set different
challenges for each other. I’m gonna see who comes out
on top, and who is a BIKE. (intense music) (laughter) – Challenge number one is
minimum run up, to a long jump competition off this
drop, without peddling. – (Scotty) This is the
start, I’ve lined up, slight downhill, roll in, and then see who can do the biggest hop off that jump. Over there. (horns) Cool, that was a big one. – He’s doubled it. Doubled in length! (jeering) – These are all sticks
for where we have landed. – It seems I’m the loser. – Got to try harder. The next challenge: we’ve got
to start down where Neil is, climb up the jump that we just took off, and we’re gonna try to
actually hop of this log, and get back to the starting
point of the first challenge. It’s about a two foot log, and it’s gonna be a hard one to get up. So let’s see if any of us can do it. (uptempo inspiring music) (buzzer) – So you’ll roll down the
back of the jump, do a 180, you can’t go any further than that stick, and get back up that bank. (uptempo motivational music) (buzzer) (buzzer) (buzzer) – We’re three challenges
in to a game of BIKE. Neil has got a B-I, the
rest of us, we’re all B’s. – So Phil is saying the next challenge, which the rest of us are
a little bit dubious of. We’re supposed to jump
from that root right there, into the down slope of the
take off of the jump there. (buzzer) (buzzer) (buzzer) – BIK. Yeah! (buzzer) Well it looks like pretty much all of us failed on that one. Phil got a clean on his second attempt. So, not really sure where that
stands in the rules of BIKE, because he’s taken a second shot. Didn’t make the challenge
he set the first time. So I guess everyone’s BI, and Neil’s BIK. – So let’s say, “drift”, or slide round the leafy corner, and then you at home can
decide in the comments, down below, which drift or
slide you think was the best. (uptempo music) – So we’re all pretty much the same. We all made it round, taking our feet off. We’re gonna redo it, and
you’ve gotta keep your feet on, and see who’s got the best drift. (buzzer) (buzzer) (buzzer) – Neil is now out of the competition after his epic drift to crash. I’m on B-I, Phil’s B-I-K. You did a good drift too,
but you didn’t hold it. And Marc, you’re on B-I-K too. – So it’s a bit of a trials challenge. You gotta get up and over that root, and then do a figure eight,
through those tree stumps, and away that way, so,
slow trials challenge. (relaxed music) – That was a harder
version of the same thing. (relaxed music) (buzzer) (buzzer) So there you go. That was a game of BIKE,
and Scotty came out on top. The rest of us are losers. – And if you want to watch
