Funny Mountain Bike Crashes And Fails | GMBN’s February Fails And Bails

– This is GMBN’s best fails
and bails section, right. – Yeah absolutely, we’ve
got February’s finest, this is going to be hilarious. Remember right, we might
laugh at some points Chris, but these have been sent in
by the people themselves, they want to share, you know bad moments, and make them good. – Right. – Right, because we can all celebrate, we’ve all done it, we’ve all failed, and
that’s how you learn, at the end of the day. So, we’re gonna start off this week, but we will laugh. We’ll start of with Mark, he’s on his Trek Remedy,
in Woburn Bike Park, let’s see what he does. Right let’s give it a go. Come on Mark, get us going with a banger. Here he comes. He looks good. (both gasp) Oh my god. That was amazing, I tell you what, that could’ve been a
lot worse actually Mark. (mumbles) I’m going to watch it
through one more time. – Go on then. – Cause I couldn’t take
it, it was a lot going on. It was a lot going on. Comes in, nice hit, looking good. – Nice speed. – Nice line, he just. – What would’ve been really impressive, is I think on that nose
roll, if he arrowed it on, back to two wheels and jump that next one, you would be styling like
Brendan Fairclough through there. – Or committed in that front roll, and gone into a front
flip, Danny Macesque. Could be done. – But yeah, really close,
could’ve been a lot worse, you got away with that
pretty good I think. – Good, yeah the exit, I’m getting off of this baby. Yeah, nice start, that one was sort of a stylish crash. I liked it a lot. Okay this looks, the thumbnail
for this one is crazy. Okay this is from Ales, he’s on a Commencal
Meta, it’s in Slovenia. I ride my bike on transport ski road and, crashed because of the soft snow patch. Ah this could be high speed hay at mayhem. – Sounds nasty. – Here we go, 11 seconds. (both laugh) – Those crashes are definitely the worst. Dead stop, flat over the handle bars. – I was not ready for that. – It went quite quick didn’t it. – It happens so fast, but
the fact that he gets up, and is just covered in snow,
look at his face, oh my god. – I’m feeling for your
collar bones on that. – He’s like I hate my life right now. – Collar bone breaker. – Two little eyes and just snow. (both laugh) – Oof, and you’ve got
my vote at the moment, as best crash of the month. That was very nice, I like that a lot. Well done Ales, don’t go so fast in the snow. Okay, next up we’ve got Taylor, on his black market Kill Switch. – Nice bike. – That’s a cool name ain’t it. What’s that jump bike? – Yeah it’s like a, Kill
Switch is the full suspension, like a little slim style bike. – Oh is it, nice, alright. Okay, this is in, Lincolnton, new NC. Where would NC be? – North Carolina. – North Carolina, maybe. Finishing up second
hit, on a monster line, trying to have at least
60ft by the last jump. – Whoa – Wow (whistling in the background) Here we go Taylor, impress us. I can’t see where he
is, oh my god it is big. (both gasp) Exit. – Play it again, I just wanna dissect that technique. – That was mental. – I think I saw a slight problem. – Well he ain’t got enough
speed, that’s one problem. The bottom, he’s not going to make it. – And you did a (censored)
crank between it, if you don’t know what
a (censored) crank is, it’s where you stick a quick crank in. Am I allowed to say (censored)? – I don’t know if it’s
politically correct, but we are going with it. – Where you stick a crank
in before the take off, and that can actually
really disturb your flow, because it, you’re trying to get setup, load your suspension up,
I’m assuming you’re on, oh yeah hill switch. – [Background Voice] Panic crank. – Panic crank, not a. – Panic crank. – But basically yeah, I learnt this at a, big set of trails once, and I was landing trying
to get as much speed, by pedaling between the jumps, and I was casing it every single time but, I think it was with Kye Forte, a real good BMX rider now mountain biker, but he said just to coast, think about loading the bike up, and actually that way
I was jumping the jump, every single time. – That’s amazing. – Just think about what you’re doing but, yeah I think if you roll into that, think about it, load the
bike up, you got that easy. – Yeah, 10 out of 10 for the, I’m not making this, time to go. – Definitely, good bail. – And he just throws the
bike down into the hole, and slides into the landing. Very, very clever. We’ve got some good crashed this week. – It’s really good. – I hope we get some bad crashes. Come on. Henry, Henry help me out, he’s on his Trek Marlin. – This looks high, is it? – It does looks high. – Is he in a hot air balloon. – Dropped from the balloon, yeah. 11 year old GMBN fan,
having fun on his home farm, in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Aw, that sounds nice. – That’s good. – But, unfortunately it can’t
be nice because this is, fails and bails. Here we go, oh he’s got some speed up, oh my god, this could be, I don’t know what’s going to happen. OH! (both laugh) – Oh my god. – Jesus Christ. – I was just about to
say, those tufts of grass, can really catch you out. – Wow. – [Biker] Is my bike okay? – What did he say? – Is my bike okay. – That’s brilliant. – That was monstrous. – He’s absolutely hauling. – Skip it again to the tuft, I like that. – He’s absolutely hauling. There he goes, look at that bike. – He’s laughing about it, I’d love to be able to
crash and laugh about it. – Let’s just hear what he’s
saying, that is so brilliant. He’s talking as soon as it’s happened. – [Biker] Oh god, I’m fine. – Oh god, I’m fine, straight
away as soon as you get up. – [Biker] Is my bike okay? (both laugh) – Aw Henry, you are a star. He literally is like, ah I’m fine. His bike is still rolling down the hill. Amazing. – That’s the best one so far. – So good, well done Henry. That’s brilliant. Okay, next up, we’ve
got Tobias on his Cube, he’s out in the snow. Two months ago I had a
crash, it was a bit slippery, here we go. Come on Tobias. Got something to live up too now. Ah, it’s your standard fare,
it’s your standard fair. Camera man always gets it. – There’s loads of trees
to smash into there, I think you got away pretty lightly there. – It’s something to think about, if you’re filming
someone, you should think, if they fall off, where
are they gunna go, right, and if it’s you, then you
need to change your angle. Okay, because that’s not
a good place to get hit. Yeah, your standard crash that one. – Not too bad. – What would you call it? A tank slap basically. – Basically yeah, landed
with a bit of brakes, sliding around, snow is good fun to fall
off on, good fun to ride in, but yeah can be super slippy at times. – Tank slapper Tobias, thank you. Right next up we have got, Jonas, he’s on his YT dirt bike in Germany. Let’s see what happens. This looks like a little
crew this does, look. Right, he’s saying I think
I wanna ride round, ya? – The trail is closed I think Whoa (both laugh) Oh my god. – For originality, for originality, that is unbelievable. – Almost got hung up by his
mouth piece on the fence there, dangling down. – Let’s watch that
again, that was so good. Aw man, here we go. – Mouth piece hang. – So funny. – Says the trails closed mate. (both laugh) – Oww Oh my god, that is brilliant. – Pretty nasty though. – It could’ve been really horrible, it looks like he got away with it. It’s been the young ones
this month so far ain’t it. – Good to see them pushing the limits. – Very funny, very funny. So at the moment, we’ve got
Jonas who is definitely in, with a shout. And we’ve got Henry. – Henry – Jonas and Henry are absolutely
nailing it at the moment. Right next up, it is Connor, on his Specialized Enduro, this is in New Zealand as well. Yeah, okay. It says, some of my mates built this, and I had cleared it a week before, decided to hit it again,
my bike came out unharmed, I just got a few scratches. Oh god here we go. – Sounds good. – I don’t know what this
jump is going to be. But it was quite winded it says, I just realized, it could be a winded one. Go on, son. Nope. Oh Jesus. That was – No noise, that’s the worst ones – I tell you what, a few
scratches and winded, you did well. – Flipped over the bars,
fully straight on your back, winded, it’s probably
the worst thing to have, after a crash, I’ve been there lots. – I’ve got to be honest,
I was hoping for a bit of, I’m winded video. (pretends to be winded) (both laugh) – It’s horrible when
people come over to you, you alright and you kind of like respond, yeah sure. – You’re trying to say, what do you think? – Exactly yeah. – Well Connor, you got out of it well, I’m going to watch it
one more time because, yeah that was actually
quite a scary crash. I didn’t like that one much,
because it was high speed. It’s a good job he goes,
clears over that next jump. – Yeah. – Nasty, nasty crash that one. Okay, Brody coming in
here with his Norco ride, shredding with the boys and found a drop, I wanted to send it, next thing I know, I was completely soaked and freezing cold. Brilliant, brilliant. Here we go. This sounds like I’m gunna love it. Come on Brody, impress me, Brody. Come on. Oh I see, he’s teasing us. I thought that was it then. – I was gunna say. – Here he goes, here he goes, go on. (gasps) Oh no! That is not what I thought, oh no. (both laugh) There’s a photo at the end. I hate life. That is not what I
thought was gunna happen. – No, I thought it was
going to be a big river, but yeah over the handle
bars and into a stream. – Let’s seen that again. – Look at the ice as well. – Here he comes, into the drop, so slow. The drop he’s got. Oh man. – Can you imagine that ride home as well, looks like it’s been snowing and ice, covered in water, hypothermia. – I’ve gotta ask Brody, what did you think was going to happen? – Looks like you’ve even
got a rear brake on as well. – Like he was never ever
going to stop, ever. – Pretty crazy. – You deserved that, you
deserved that Brody, really did. Okay next up, we’ve got Toni
on his Mondraker Vantage, in Finland. Come on Finland, oh no I
hit the wrong button, sorry, here we go Finland. Toni, come on, we’ve
got slow internet today. – Very slow. – Here we go, oh it’s a night. – Night ride in the snow. – Tease with the lights coming
in, I can’t see a thing, nor can Tony. – His mates laughing before
he’s even hit the deck. – Come on Tony, I think
we’ve done better than that, this month. – That was pretty good though. – I don’t think, no, Tony shouldn’t be in, the best of February, it’s
been an absolute banger so far, remember this is the month of Henry, who just laughs when he crashes. This is not enough, this
is a good example right, if you’ve got a crash like
this, keep it, alright. I don’t want it. – Quite harsh. – No, I don’t want it, I
want to be entertained, alright that was not enough, go faster. Okay, last trick this
week, wall ride, brilliant, here we go. – In the wet wall ride. – This is from Devin, on his Santa Cruz, Silverstar bike park in BC, Canada. You know that one Jack? Oh, Jack’s like here we go. Well known trail, it was
burn slippery that day. – Burn slippery. – Burn slippery, here we go, come on, let’s end on a banger. Oh, that’s big, oh no, there’s
some sharp edges there. – Wet isn’t it? – Oh no (both laugh) He sliced his bloody leg off. – That look horrendous,
more a wall slide, right. – Oh my god, he lost that so early in. Look at that. – Straight away, back end breaks away. – Comes in, he’s, how
quickly is in sliding, he’s off the take off, it’s instant. – Pretty much, yeah. – Man that is nasty. – If he held that, that
would’ve been amazing. – There we go, that’s what we want to see. – Just clipping that knuckle
back end in, sliding out, but yeah straight away his back end. – Any advice Chris? – It looked good to me,
just the conditions really. – The conditions are all wrong. – Wet and it’s wood, and wet
rubber and wet tires, wood. – Your advice is basically wisdom. – Yeah. – Have some wisdom. – Have been there before, so yeah, wall rides and wet tires
doesn’t really work. – Your mate was going too slippery dude, but if you’re gunna do it, I’ll film it. (both laugh) Nice one, that you Devin, thank you all. – Amazing crashes. – We’ve had some amazing
fails and bails this month, that is just a little sample
of some of the best ones, and one of the worst. – Yeah. – But we won’t keep stuck on that. I think this month’s winner
has gotta be Henry ain’t it, just for attitude. – The speed and the style of the crash. – Attitude. – And to bounce back up like that, would love to be made of
rubber, love to be like that. – Yeah absolutely, so for
great attitude, Henry, you are this week’s, this
month’s fails and bails winner, we are going to send
you a GMBN water bottle, just like that one over
there that I can see, and Jack will send in with
his amazing throwing skills, was good this month. Yes, it’s on it’s way to
you Henry, congratultions. – Good work. – If you’ve got a fail or bail, you’d like to send into
us and please share it, no matter how bad it I, I’m only kidding. Send it into the GMBN uploader
under fails and bails, we’d love to see it, we feature
them on the dirt shed show, every week and you never
know you might make it, into our monthly selection, which makes you basically a
hero, that’s what I’ve heard. Stick with us, on GMBN, by clicking the old
subscribe button there, and I think over Chris’s face we’ve put, a hit list of dirt shed shows, where you can see more fails and bails. (whistling in background) This is January’s fails and
bails best of just here, and we will see you next
time, give us a thumbs.
