Bike Riding for Advanced Cyclists : Bike Frames

On behalf of Expert Village, I’m Patrick from
Zoomers Bike and Gear to tell you about advanced cycling. When riding the different style bikes
you have in advanced cycling, you usually start off with a full aluminum blend. The
carbon also is an option that you can go in, which will be blended in with the aluminum,
or you can go for full carbon. This bike right here has a carbon front fork, and a carbon
rear end, so it gets the best of both worlds. A lot of other features on it are just how
many gears you have in the back and the front. A lot of advanced cyclists will use just two
in the front, whereas a lot of regular cyclists are going to use three. The wheels also have
a big thing, and the shifting, the different style seats you’re going to use. Another thing
that makes an advanced bike is, like I said before, the cost. You’re going to spend anywhere
from six hundred plus dollars all the way up to–there’s bikes up in the twenty thousand
dollar range for extremely custom-built bikes. Normal bikes, everyday bikes, are, you know,
a hundred and fifty to two hundred to five hundred dollar range. The braking system also
is going to be a little bit higher quality. It’s going to be able to stop you when you’re
going at high speeds.
