It’s so cold! We don’t want to ride Khaki colour… The winner is… ..way higher level of bike.. What’s your sag? What is that? I’m not an expert, I don’t really know Hi everyone, we received a lot of messages about our bikes, so we decided to shoot this video We will do a bike check of our enduro bikes – my Qayron Carma and Damjan’s Author A-Ray I think I’m already the winner of this video The green khaki colour isn’t cool at all mate.. We want you let us know which bike do you like more! Today’s first rider is Ondra Just wanted to say that it’s so cold that we didn’t want to ride That’s why we’re doing the bike check I like the fact your jacket matches the frame colour I’m the tuning guy, you know that So this is my enduro bike – Qayron Carma It’s pretty much serial bike except pedals, handlebar and stem from Reverse components 160mm travels front and back, it’s pure enduro bike Sountour fork and shock Shimano XT brakes..no sorry they are SLX Gearing is the same…no sorry it’s XT It’s 1×11 which is cool I’m not an expert, I prefer riding my bike rather than talking about it, so that’s it I think our audience wants to know some details about your suspension I really don’t know much about that So let’s start with the fork It’s Suntour Auron, it’s a great fork! The rear shock is… Suntour as well And it’s good as well What’s the sag? What is sag? I think the sag is alright…something like 15% I do a lot of technical stuff on the bike, so it’s pretty hard Normally you would pressure it 20-30%, I like to have it 15% What’s next? Schwalbe tires, and that’s it I can add one more thing – how does the bike feel when riding It’s not Qayron’s top model, but it’s so good! I totally love the bike! It can handle my style of riding really well The geometry works great It’s good for bikeparks, trails, even street riding I love it! I think this bike is the winner of this battle One more thing! If you’ve seen my latest edit “Static”, you can imagine how hard the riding was And the bike handled it with no problem Everything on the bike is super stiff and functional Let’s see the other garbage bike Let’s move to the best bike of today’s bike check My bike is Author A-Ray, 27,5 wheel size, same as Ondra It’s a trail bike with 130mm suspension front and back I really love the 130mm because it lets me do whatever I want It’s easy to handle and fun to ride even dirt jumps or street It’s also cool for trail riding, of course What’s the frame size? M – 19″ I was trying smaller size S as well, but it was too small, 19″ is ideal for my posture I changed some components I put on shorter Chromag stem and Spank handlebars The stem is like 40mm I guess The handlebar is pretty wide, 800mm I think I removed the fork lock-out system which is useless I also switched from 2×10 to 1×10 which is totally ok for me The bike looks cleaner with less cables The chain has never fallen down even though I don’t use the chain guide We can see how many changes you had to do to your bike Yeah, that’s right, I just used some parts that I know will work great I also used the Maxxis tires, which I know work really well Great thing about this bike are the Mavic wheel sets They are stiff and really light, they don’t have problem to handle my technical riding at all They also look awesome The yellow hub stripe matches to Maxxis logo Rock Shox forks and shock I’m not an expert, same as Ondra What’s the pressure and sag? Sag is like 20% I think Same as Ondra – I prefer riding not tuning and studying the bike and the parts.. I also have some Shimano parts – Deore brakes, which work great Slx crankset – stiff and light XT rear derraileur And of course – dropper seatpost, I can’t imagine my life without that I’d also like to show this little detail The grips match to the handlebars The bike is just so awesome.. When you see me riding it – it’s like a symphony So that was it, I think it’s clear who the winner of the bike check is But we still need your opinion about who’s bike is better We both know Qayron is better Let us know in the comments what you think And we will shoot a video with the bikes really soon Thanks for watching and see you later!
