Best of Mt Seymour MTB? John Deer || North Shore, BC | Mountain Biking

Welcome back everyone to this week’s Friday
guide down John Deer on Mount Seymour. And in my attempt to push my boundaries as
a rider…. a very very short guide to Deer John, a steep double black shortcut. John Deer might just be my new favorite trail
on the mountain, though there are still several trails yet to be filmed that might give it
stiff competition. It is mostly a flowy blue trail, but the builders
have placed or left several small rock lips and rolling jumps to add to the playful variety. They also have built a wickedly steep, large
and fast wood feature to provide the speed to clear a hip jump. The start of John Deer is not exactly obvious
as it is actually a left turn off Severed D, a black trail on the mountain, but it should
be noted that the start of Severed is no worse than John Deer. Alternatively, if you ride up Good Sir Martin
you will intersect this trail fairly close to the start of it, but would have to hike
up the last part to get to the true start. As for next week, I’m not actually sure what
trail I’ll be showing …so feel free to leave requests down below. Until then, it’s time for you
to sit back and enjoy the ride!
